Can someone point me out how can I correctly validate a chain using also system root certificates?Hi, Never usually have a problem getting into a Netscaler/Access Gateway server and can get Java sorted out very quickly. Also see Web Site Testing FAQ in the FAQ Part 2 for a discussion of web site testing considerations; also see What's the best way to choose a test automation tool?in the LFAQ section; there are also articles about web site testing and management in the 'Resources' section.
Knowing whether a path is valid is also about whether the certificates you have are being used in the manner intended. However i'm having a lot of problems getting into one customers Access Gateway VPX 10.0 We can get into it, when it then loads the Java parts it comes up with 'Failed to validate certificate' and it won't be executed. I have turned all the security options off in Java and added the site to exceptions but will not work. When going into more information, I find out which certificate it is trying to use, and it seems to be an expired intermediate Thawte certificate. The certificate you are prepared to trust is also often referred to as a trust anchor , and I will start the journey through the JCA classes for path validation by looking at the class that encapsulates this first. The or if you have to use the public key and an identifying X.500 Name to identify the trust anchor instead.
