Weekend Class, September 8-10, 2017 Circle of Two is a weekend seminar on Christian marriage and how to build a great married relationship. It is open to couples in all stages of relationship: married, engaged, or seriously dating. Designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano, together with landscape architect Peter Walker, the museum was established by artists Raymond and Patsy Nasher, who wanted to create a one-in-a-kind museum experience. The building was designed to seamlessly integrate art with nature by connecting beautiful outdoor garden spaces with the indoor galleries through vast floor-to-ceiling windows, skylights and glazed walls. In Cornerstone you can expect a powerful blend of Biblical teaching, modern praise and worship music, and a casual, friendly environment. Each week we’ll sing traditional hymns and contemporary songs of faith, and take an in-depth look at scripture and practical wisdom for living out our faith today. An extended and in-depth exploration of scripture or core Christian teaching is shared to help participants understand what the scriptures and the teachings of the church meant in their original context and how they might be applied to lives today. This service engages in congregational singing and praying, hearing and reflecting on God’s Word in the scriptures and preaching, and celebrating God’s loving and transforming presence in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Our Munger Place campus is a unique historical venue in East Dallas with a quickly growing congregation that focuses on community and family. Set in the beautiful Cox Chapel, this service features acoustic worship and preaching. The word 'Kerygma' in the New Testament refers both to the essential core of the faith and its proclamation.

Taylor Ishii tells us that religion is decreasing among Americans—especially young adults—and this is an opportunity to respond with hope by welcoming and supporting everyone we meet in the church. Instead, we must put our trust and hope in Jesus, the Son of God, our guardian who never sleeps and continually watches over us.Feel free to have your child wear his or her backpack and they will receive a tag with scripture on it to keep. Get your questions answered about the history and meaning of how we worship Christ during Holy Communion. Join us Wednesday nights this fall for Keeping Kingdom Time, a special 6-week course.
